Q: What is the circular economy?
A: The circular economy is where materials are kept in the system for as long as possible, retaining the highest possible value. It is a shift from the linear economy where we take, make, and create waste.
Q: What is zero-waste?
A: Zero-waste is a way to reduce our need for materials and leverage the circular economy model to minimize our waste.
Q: Why does implementing circular and zero waste initiatives matter?
A: They matter because using virgin resources is no longer sustainable. If we buy quality materials from the get-go and reuse them throughout their lives, operational costs will go down. We will also minimize our impact on the natural world, regenerating ecosystems and positively impacting disadvantaged communities.
Q: How will it impact our team?
A: Research shows, majority of employees are looking for companies to be more sustainable, have a clear sense of purpose, and positively impact the communities they are located in. However, any change can be hard, even if it is for good. Our process is to engage all stakeholders throughout the project to ensure continued success and increase employee engagement.

A: Our process is iterative, and our approach is co-creative. We work with you, as a strategic partner to successfully implement circular and zero waste strategies so you can achieve your ESG goals and spend resource where they matter most.

Q: Will you need to come on site?
A: Yes, we will need to come on-site during key moments throughout the project. We will discuss ahead of time as the frequency and amount of visits will be determined by the scope of work.
Q: Is there a cost savings after we implement circular and zero waste strategies?
A: Yes, there can be a cost savings either day one or over a period. After we conduct the feasibility study and data gathering phase, we can determine what cost savings you can expect.
Q: Why aren’t more companies doing this?
A: We think there is not enough awareness around the concept of circularity, zero waste workplaces, and how it can benefit the organization and its people. Without awareness, taking that first step can feel daunting. That’s why we are here to partner to make the process simple.
Q: What hurdles would we expect?
A: If your local area does not have the resources we need to implement, this could be challenging. However, this is where the feasibility study comes in so we can understand what is available, how best to utilize, and create a strategy from there.
Q: Do you provide playbooks to implement certain initiatives?
A: At this time, we are unable to provide certain playbooks. While we do hope to provide this in the future, we do offer advisory services for your team to be able to take the lead on any initiative.

Our goal is to inspire what could be. We’re used to the standard ways of operating and have mindsets that sustainability is more expensive. It doesn’t have to be and we’re here to pave the way.
